Clemm 1823-1847
I thought I should honor Poe's wife with a page for
her, so here it is. This is a picture of Virginia Clemm, Edgar Allan
Poe's first and only wife. She was his cousin, and only 13 when they
married in 1836, but he loved her dearly. I like to think that his
love POEms of Annabel Lee, Helen, The Raven etc. are about her. She
died young of tuberculosis in 1847, at the age of 23. You need Java to
