Ahab Thinking
I think of him by day,
and he haunts my dreams at night,
filled with the blackness of evil,
but with a vivid coat of white.
The ocean teases me with its many white fish,
and the clouds with its huge white shape,
and with humps atop snow capped mountains,
it's an image I can't escape.
I will never give up searching,
as along as he is swimming free,
so my days are spent looking,
for that devil in the sea.
For he has taken away my natural leg,
so taking his life is my utmost goal,
there is no compassion nor reason in left in me,
for he has taken it from my soul.
I will chase him across the seven seas,
and to the depths of hell,
because I'll never be content with him alive,
and my vengence for him will never quell.
I'd give anything to see him dead,
there's no price I can't afford,
I would sacrifice the ship itself,
and the lives of all men aboard.
My name is Ahab,
and you may think me a lunatic,
but I will be all right soon,
once I kill that Moby-Dick.
