1) be short (a few paragraphs) and
2) not boring
My mom once told me that one of the hardest things to do is to make someone laugh out loud from just plain text. Even to this day, I strongly believe that good comedy is harder than good drama. If you'd like to give your version of an existing story, that's cool too.
